A glass greenhouse refers to a greenhouse that uses glass (single glass or hollow glass) as the lighting material, belonging to one type of intelligent greenhouse. Among cultivation facilities, glass greenhouses, being the most durable form, are suitable for different regions and various climatic conditions. A large glass greenhouse is a type of intelligent greenhouse (also known as an automatic greenhouse). It is based on the agricultural greenhouse environment of high-tech "intelligent" greenhouses and is equipped with automated facilities such as computer-controlled movable skylights, shading systems, insulation systems, wet curtain/fan cooling systems, irrigation systems, etc.
Even indoor light distribution: A large slope triangular roof (i.e., only one triangular roof within a span) will create a large shadow area on the shaded slope inside the glass greenhouse, where plants will grow poorly. A small slope triangular roof, on the other hand, allows for even light distribution.
Low heat consumption: Compared to large slope triangular roof glass greenhouses, a small slope roof glass greenhouse has a smaller construction space under the same building area, eave height, and perimeter protection area, thus consuming less heat.
Anti-drip function: In cold weather, the large temperature difference between indoors and outdoors causes condensation on the inside of the glass greenhouse roof. Due to the smaller slope of the small triangular roof, condensation collects in aluminum gutters that collect condensate before it can drip down, preventing leaf diseases.
Easy maintenance: Smaller slopes make the roof easier to repair and clean.
Strong wind and pressure resistance: Glass greenhouses use hot-dip galvanized steel frames that are sturdy and durable.
High light transmittance: Greenhouse glass panels are used as covering materials, providing good light transmittance, excellent sealing, insulation, and high aesthetic value.
High utilization: Large-span pointed roof design provides a large indoor operation space, making glass greenhouses highly efficient and good for display purposes.
Economical and quality: Lanjing's greenhouse glass panels typically come in 3mm or 4mm thicknesses. They are affordable and have high light transmittance and strength, with excellent impact resistance.
Low-iron glass, low self-combustion rate: Lanjing's greenhouse glass panels are made of low-iron glass, which has higher light transmittance (about 2% higher than transparent glass panels). Due to the low iron content, their self-combustion rate is much lower than that of ordinary transparent glass panels, and their strength is better.
Low reflectivity, high temperature resistance: Lanjing's greenhouse glass panels are equipped with an anti-reflective coating, also known as AR coating. It provides a visible light transmittance of as high as 95%, with the lowest reflectivity down to 3%, and it also offers high-temperature resistance.
