Strength and durability
SGP has higher strength and stronger durability, with a tear strength five times that of regular PVB and a hardness one hundred times that of PVB
Transparency
SGP is more transparent than PVB.
Edge stability
SGP interlayer has good resistance to moisture, with a yellowing coefficient of less than 1.5, while PVB film is around 6-12.
Cost
SGP interlayer cost is around 3-5 times more expensive than PVB.
